Turn scattered screenshots into a document you can hand over
Chat logs, transfer receipts and call screenshots live scattered in your gallery. Printed out, they come out out of order, cut off at the edges, and clearly not a real document. Digitrail stitches them into one complete long image on your phone, paginates it to A4, adds timestamps and source notes, and exports a PDF you can print or submit.
Three ways in, one result
It does not matter where the material comes from — recorded while scrolling, saved in your gallery, or a few images stitched together. The output is always the same shape: complete, paginated, timestamped, ready to hand over.
01 / Scroll capture
Scroll, record, get one long image
Start recording, scroll the chat window normally. Digitrail detects the overlap between frames and stitches a single continuous image — no manual screenshot-and-align.
02 / Image stitching
Loose screenshots, put back in order
Stacked, side-by-side, 2×2 or 3×3. Images are scaled against the smallest one and only ever scaled down — never stretched to fill a frame.
03 / A4 export
Paginated to paper, numbered per page
The long image is cut into A4 pages and exported as PDF. Each page carries “page N of M”, so nothing goes missing or out of order in print.
Four unglamorous things that decide whether it is usable
Stitching tools are everywhere. The hard part was never the stitching — it is whether the result can be treated as a document. These four are premises, not features.
Everything stays on your device
Images are not uploaded, not sent anywhere, not routed through a server. What you process exists only on your phone — a technical choice, and a position.
No downscaling, no stretching
Stitching happens at native resolution. If the source is 1080 px wide, the result is 1080 px wide — compress it and the printed text stops being legible, which defeats the purpose.
Time and source, if you want them
Watermarks support timestamps, free text and blur. Which part to redact, which part needs a note — that call stays with you.
Every file remembers where it came from
Which long image this crop came from, which PDF was exported from it — the library links source and derived files, so versions do not blur together after a week.
Three steps, nothing to learn
From raw material to finished file in three steps. Every step is reversible, and your originals are never modified.
STEP 01
Pick the material
Scroll capture, import from the gallery, or stitch a few screenshots. Chat logs, transfer pages and call records can be mixed.
STEP 02
Put it in order
Drag to reorder, crop the edges, add a watermark or blur where it matters. Only the copy changes — originals stay untouched.
STEP 03
Export
PDF, long image, plain text or slices. Files land in Pictures/Digitrail and Documents/Digitrail, visible in both the gallery and the file manager.
Who needs a screenshot to become a document
Not everyone does. If you just want to keep a memory, the gallery is enough — Digitrail is built for the cases where something has to be handed over.
People who must submit a chat record
Complaints, disputes, filings, mediation. The other side wants one readable record with a clear order and visible timestamps — not fifteen loose screenshots.
People tidying a parent's phone
They do not know how to stitch screenshots, or where to save them. Stitch it, paginate it, put it in the gallery — all they need to do is open it.
Work that needs a paper trail
Handovers, reconciliation, announcements. One file assembled from records scattered across group chats, with timestamps, beats retelling it from memory.
People who need text, not images
Long images and screenshots can be read as text, Chinese and English mixed included. Copy it, or export it as plain text.
The things you will probably ask

Are my images uploaded to a server?
Where do exported files go?
Pictures/Digitrail in the gallery; PDFs and text go to Documents/Digitrail. Both are visible in the system gallery and file manager, and they stay put if you uninstall the app.Very long images — will they get blurry?
Which formats can I export?
Does it need a network or an account?
Keep the record as a document, not as a gallery item
